You asked, we listened. So we are posting our ventrllo information right here on our site
What is ventrllo?
Ventrilo, or "vent", is a free program that you download from the internet, and it is like Teamspeak...only BETTER. Here are some of the things you can do on vent:
- talk live with other players that are also on vent with you
- have your own team in your own vent room, or you can join your enemy in their room if they also are on vent
- report any game concerns you might have to Admin if one is on vent but not in game and talk to us live
- use our vent chat room to exchange url's, links or just talk privately
- if you are making videos with your friends on our server, vent is a great way to communicate
- you can get help faster, because you can talk live instead of type
- you can also WIN more, if your squad is on vent, because you can give orders live or talk live instead of typing
- works great for flying - typing is almost impossible in a jet
- and lastly, your voice will sound (and others too) MUCH clearer than on Teamspeak

- First, download ventrilo from HERE
- Next, you will need to set up our server on your ventrilo so you can connect:

(there is no password for guests)
By personal experience while gaming in different games while using the said software for voice communication. Teamspeak is not better than ventrilo nor is Vent better than TS. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. I will try to be as non-technical as possible.
Teamspeak
1) Teamspeak has a larger variety of codecs to decrease your upload/download rate.
2) More power for the Admin in the Console.
3) Has Linux support.
4) Good for ADSL users.
5) Customizable server database using MySQL.
6) Works well with all firewalls and router firewalls.
7) Very less RAM and CPU consumption. Supports more than 200 players without lag at once, very useful during fleet battles in EvE Online when there are more than 200 people involved at once in the same channel. I have been on TS with almost 500 users at one time without lagging and I believe it can support more than a thousand in the same server.
8 ) Does not require a paid server to host a server with more than 8 connections.
Ventrilo
1) Has better channel control and filters.
2) Channels can be created on the run.
3) Text to speech Integration.
4) Server can specify codec to be used in that server for all users.
5) Support for 64-bit.
6) Integration with music players.
7) Better voice clarity at the cost of bandwidth.
8 ) Easy customization for Admins because of less configuration.

Enable Direct Sound and Use the Default Direct Sound Device, Disable PTT. If that doesn't work it is some kind of Sound Card Driver Issue. I usually use PTT so that my voice doesn't 'delay/lag'.
